“We had dinner here and it was a fantastic experience from beginning to end. We did a flight of 5 different wines and they ranged from good to amazing. The appetizers were so good. We ordered 4 or 5, but the standout is the bowl of bacon. Perfect execution, salty, caramelized, and crisp! Mains and desserts were equally well done. The servers were so friendly and knowledgeable. We drove an hour to have dinner here and we would do it again and again. P.S. When will you guys start offering wine pairing dinners? I know you'd knock it out of the park!”

“Had an amazing experience without technically staying, though we definitely plan to book a stay in our next adventure through the Adirondacks. The Woods Inn is an gorgeous step back in time that we came across by accident. Amazing building with beautiful preservation and restoration! We were heading through a pretty messy snow event on our way from Saranac to home (Attica, NY) and decided to get a place to stay overnight till the storm passed. We booked a spa tub room online at the Woods Inn. When we arrived, we were a bit early, but found that the front desk was handling everything remotely through their ring doorbell. We were directed through the check in process, but found that the room set up for us was actually not yet available. We are pretty easy going people (plus we were early) so we decided to head over to Old Forge and have some lunch and watch the rest of the football game while they set about fixing up a room. While we waited, the management kept in touch with us through texts. He let us know that ultimately, the room would not be available to us at their establishment and instead they were going to be finding us comparable lodging right where we were! We were given a suite room with a Jacuzzi tub at a beautiful hotel in Old Forge. No charge. They went above and beyond generous and we are so very grateful for their help!”

“Went with the family at 5:30 on a Saturday. There was maybe 3 couples in the whole place. Saturday special was open faced prime rib sandwich. Only one was available, they were out of the special. Everyone received their food except one person, who didn't get his until we were all done eating. Apologies, but no discounts. Waitress was not around much. Can't imagine how it would have been if it had been busy. 2 people, shrimp basket, lasagna and a couple of drinks = $78.00 with 18% gratuity included. Very disappointing!”

“5 stars, because I can't give it 6. we like to really rough it when we go camping... 😁 7th lake house is a MUST, pure & simple. my wife had a Margarita & the Mediterranean chicken, I had the shrimp zydeco & a switchback ale... just fantastic. and our server Courtney couldn't have been nicer. we left no room for dessert. and we will *definitely* be back.”

“Dinner cruise on 8/28/21 with my wife & 3 teenagers. We were fortunate to get last minute reservations. Between the five of us we tried the Prime Rib, Salmon, Sirloin, and Chicken. They were all warm, perfectly cooked, and seasoned to perfection. The meat just melted in your mouth it was so good. The tour around the lakes was relaxing and offered a great view of many of the houses and highlighted some historical places. Will definitely return.”

“Turner's is the most tasty pizza in Long Lake, and they are so sweet and wonderful to order from- even if plans change. 😉. Whenever we are in Long Lake we make sure one of our dinners is pizza night at Turner's. This year we got pretty normal pizzas: pepperoni, margherita, and a sausage bacon red pepper and mushroom, but they were sooooo good. The crust is the best. Get out your ranch bote for dipping! Yum yum yum!!”

“Best burgers, fries and ice cream! It’s amazing what a food shack can get right that many restaurants cannot. This place has the best inexpensive burgers and toppings. The burger was cooked, but moist and delicious. The bun golden toasted and the same size as the pattie. The toppings fresh and crispy. I want to live near a burger place like this. An I’m from the food capital of NYC. The have a bouncy slide in the back and an adorable black Newfoundland mascot. Next time we are trying the pistachio latte shake.”

“I wanted to go somewhere different for my 21st birthday. We have a cabin the next town over and we drive past this place a few times a year on vacations. We came with a large group, the owner was inviting and so were many of the individuals at the bar. We had a few beers couple orders of wings a few laughs and a great time!
