PW’s Firehouse Diner

Ate here this morning due to the great reviews so figured I'd best leave one myself. Portions, service, and atmosphere are all terrific, but they spice their homefries with Cajun seasoning and don't have it labeled as such. Not sure what else they add hot spice to, but for those of us non spice lovers, beware. It can ruin your experience. I won't go back unless reading about changes before we return to Cape Vincent next year. Other foods were good, but I'm still dealing with the burn feeling in my mouth even after trying to get rid of it with toast, bacon, and, tea. My personal experience was really bad - those who like spice can go here and enjoy!

Another note, if you're vegan, they offer nothing on their menu. Vegetarian has very few options. Seems odd in a tourist area, so again, letting review readers know to see if it affects them.

The more that's written the better one can decide if a place is a good option for them or not.

Most delicious breakfast we've had on the River! We've tried ALLLLL the other places from Abay to Sackets, this was by far our best experience! Nice options on the menu, a really good variety, and very fresh! Everything was fantastic, nice presentation, good and fast service, cute atmosphere. We ordered the Chicken Fajita Omelette, The New Yorker, Corned Beef Hash & Eggs, and a Classic Benedict. This place is a hidden gem, wasn't overly busy like every other place we've tried up here...not sure why, it was delicious 😋

Best breakfast! Good size portions French toast and bacon! We no longer have to leave the Cape for a terrific breakfast!
