The Channelside

Best steak I have ever had. Friendly staff, great service with a beautiful view of the St. Lawrence Seaway. Don't get any better than this folks!

The restaurant entrance and restrooms are not wheelchair accessible. But if you are able to get in, the food is excellant. There is outdoor seating with a view of the river and the ship channel. Large ocean-going ships can be seen close by.

I go to the thousand islands area every year and like to try new restaurants in Clayton and Alex Bay. I'm honestly always pretty disappointed in the food but the Channelside is the exception. Their food and beverages were amazing and the staff were very friendly. I'll definitely be back!!

The location is superb. Right on the water. Food was great. Fish so fresh...the fifth star is withheld because they should stop serving home made potato chips since no one finished theirs while we were there. And then they upcharge for french fries. Waste of good spuds.

Stopped in here on a Tuesday night after sunset for late bites and nightcap. The bartender/server Eric was great. Made us signature cocktails which were amazing, a little pricey, but worth it. Enjoyed some appetizers which were also fantastic on the deck overlooking the river, and the view is just fabulous. A fireside seat opened up so we had a couple more drinks and enjoyed that too. Great place.
