I went to the Popeye's on Fort Drum yesterday to try the new Chicken sandwich. I went early so I was the second in line. The Popeye's employee's were slow, didn't expect the high demand, and then they screwed up my order. The service was terrible.
it’s like any ole popeyes, good, but i secretly feel like there’s laxatives in the food...
It was hot, as if the A/C was not working. The sweet tea was empty. The tables were dirty. The biscuit was dry. The Chicken and the green beans were both very good. That is the only reason I'm giving it 3 stars.
Visited during lunch hours which seems to be peak time for this location and everyone was doing everything they could to move not only the dining room line but the drive thru as quickly as possible. Even the manager was on a register. He even came around to the tables afterwards to ensure we were enjoying our meals.
