Great food and great service, The Blue Heron is a must when visiting the area. From the homemade soups to the made from scratch desserts The Blue Heron serves up delicious meals at reasonable prices.
The perch is fresh daily, light and tender. The Friday fish fry is lightly breaded and perfectly cooked. Moist and flaky, the huge portion combined with the homemade macaroni and cheese will satisfy the biggest appetites.

A great restaurant and great atmosphere and Shelby did the most fantastic job behind the bar that I have seen in a long time. Great place!

Love the atmosphere of the outside eating area. Food is always fantastic and wait staff is helpful and friendly.

The Blue Heron was a great place to eat in the afternoon. Excellent tasteful little place, with a great new fresh look.. Taco Tuesdays & 2.50 margarita s made the start of the day great. Naturally a bar or restaurant is only as good as the bartender or waitresses, something all owners should remember. Being good to a great staff is what makes you or brakes you. Our bartender was great and wonderful and definitely made the visit an enjoyable one that would make me wanna return. TVs in the bar with a wide selection of programs something different on each one, and a keno screen to play your games.
