Friede's Restaurant

Stopped in for the first time on Friday and were treated like friends. Homey feel, great people, delicious food, quick service. And Bill is wonderful. What more could you ask for? We'll definitely be back next time we're in Watertown.

It is a very nice place to go to and eat

Good food, good price. I don’t know if my friend and looked like we needed a job, but after we paid for our meal and was heading out, an older gentleman who was working there (not sure if he was the owner or something) told us “we have a job opening in the kitchen...washing dishes.” My friend and I awkwardly laughed and proceeded to walk out.
Because folks on this side of NY seem to be awkwardly unwelcoming to some of us, I have a hard time telling when they’re trying to be funny or throwing insult at you. Maybe he was trying to be funny, who knows.
Either way, if you’re looking for a job washing dishes, definitely check them them out.

Good hometown diner serving comfort food ala Americain. Friendly and efficient staff.

Small place but great atmosphere. Feels like you're in your mom's kitchen. Bill, the cook is fast and detail oriented whereas Mo, wait staff, is friendly and attentive. Food was hot and plentiful with under $20 for the check
