LongHorn Steakhouse

Did a take home order. The food was amazing! I just wish I had leftovers for lunch tomorrow! We got dessert to share, ordered a lava cake with ice cream. My son loved his chicken tender meal, he said it was cute with oranges on his plate. It was the first time we have gone, and I have to say, we will come back!

I loved this place. From entering it until leaving. The manager, Lou, and staff were exceptional in accomadating and serving us. The food, I had the longhorns 22oz. Steak and my friend had the salmon, was cooked to perfection. There was a variety of sides to choose from and were all tempting. The specialty drinks complimented an already perfect dining experience. Although the deserts looked scrumptious, I really had no room left to try any. They did prepare my left overs ( they really do give you a lot of food) to take home. It was the most delightful dining experience I've had in a very long time. Lou, the bartender, our waitresses, the atmosphere and especially the food made it my absolute #1 choice in dining out. If you happen to go there before I get back ( I live at a distance) tell Lou that LORI recommended you.

The chicken wing appetizer was good. The onion blossom is better at Texas Roadhouse. My husband really liked his steak though. The chicken fingers are way better at Texas Roadhouse as well. Overall, Longhorn has some good items, but for the price and taste, I still prefer Texas! If you want comparable food, with a quite atmosphere, and don't mind spending a tad more, this is definitely the place.

For a chain, we expected chain experience. Not bad, but easy and expected. Right? Wrong...the staff here made it seem like we were the only ones. Like the menu was Michelin rated and the only thing that mattered was our satisfaction. We had several staff engage with us about our meal, quick and engaged. I had to have my steak re-done and they were so easy about it. The food was fantastic. We we're so satisfied with the "quick date night choice" that we absolutely will return. Try the stuffed mushrooms....the berry sangria doesn't require a refill, and the burgers are just as good as the steaks. Yum.
