Shorty's Place

We enjoy Shorty's Place. It is a fun diner with a diverse menu. Plenty of choices. If you are looking for gormet this is not your place. Quick diner food served by personable waitresses is what you find. Good soups and desserts complement plentiful entrees. The decor is fun fifties.

What a Diner. Reminded me of when I was a little girl. Just the nuances of nostalgia blended in with modern times. The food was exceptional - had fresh corned beef hash and eggs. Delicious. Coming from Oahu and having breakfast here was a treat. Give it a try if you're in upstate New York.

I was here for breakfast. Service was fast and the food came out quickly. I really enjoyed the food I got and it was reasonably priced. My only complaint? They only had Red Hot sauce. Get some Tabasco or even better, Cholula hot sauce and you’ll get another star.

I ordered pancakes, bacon, and vanilla ice cream. The pancakes were amazing and didn't have a single burnt spot, The bacon was a little too crunchy but i wont dock points for that, the ice cream tasted like real 1950's ice cream. I also ordered A chocolate milk and a sprite. The sprite was mixed perfectly considering it was fountain drink sprite. The chocolate milk was handmade to perfection and it was gone in nearly 3 minutes. The person I was with ordered biscuits and gravy with french toast. The biscuits and gravy were pretty good and the french toast was on point. The coffee was great and all the food came really quickly. The bill only came out to $28 which is an amazing price for the quality of the food. There were little jukeboxes at every booth and the waitress was very nice to us. I will be coming back very soon. 5 stars!
