Jerusalem Steak House II

Food was amazing, but took a while to come out. Also something burned in the kitchen while we were there, and the eating area got smoky.

UPDATED REVIEW: I stand behind most of what I said in my previous review and I want to reiterate, I absolutely love the waitstaff here. I always feel well taken care of. However, the last few times I visited, there was a noticeable decline in the quality of the food. It's a real shame too, as this was one of my go-to spots...

PREVIOUS REVIEW: I've been going to this place for years and I have to say, one of the most important things about a restaurant is consistency. This place is consistent in the preparation of their food and therefore people come back. Excellent dips and salads. Make sure to try the laffa bread, it's fantastic. Over the years, they have become more pricey, so much so that I had to remove a star.

Best meal on Ave J. Food is always fresh and tasty. Staff is amazing. Would give it 4.5 stars if decor was updated.

This restaurant has been around for years, and there is a good reason for it. The food is consistantly good, and they have the nicest waitresses in Brooklyn. When you visit the Jerusalem Steak House you are assured of a good time, every time. Their Laffa bread and salads are a great way to start a meal, and they come for free.

Fresh food, excellent service, amazing patient and kind waitresses. Many choices on the menu. Choice of fresh whole wheat or white flat bread made fresh in house. Soup, kabob, dips. Would definitely come here again.
