Delicious organic burger and friendly staff. What more can you ask for?
Well priced burgers and sides. Good selection of vegetarian options. Lots of craft beers to choose from. Outdoor seating.
I just had one of the best burgers I’ve had in New York City. I sat at the bar and interacted with several staff members who were all super friendly. Prices are totally reasonable, and all of the meat is organic. I had a beef burger, and I can’t wait to come back to try one of the other options, like elk, turkey, lamb, or boar.
Amazing locally owned spot! Me and my gf came in just before closing and they were sweet and took care of us. They have great vegan and vegetarian options too!
I am not a big "burger" person--- which is the reason why it took me so long to try this place. I went there yesterday: It is FANTASTIC. I had a BLT, my favorite sandwich, made with hormone-free bacon, organic veggies and some deliciously toasted white bread. (I know, I know, I should have gotten the whole grain.) This place aims HIGH. I mean, really HIGH. There is quality everywhere and the staff is about the friendliest I have seen in the neighborhood, which is Park Slope, Brooklyn.
So come: Prepare to be dazzled. I your aim is for dinner, I suggest the sunset before the weather gets too cold. There is a patio.
There is organic wine. There are great beers on tap.
So, Dear Reader, you must understand: I plied my trade as a newspaper reporter for quite a long while.
I learned, during my visit, that Burger Village, now in its fourth year of operation, is owned by Indians. That would be folk from South East Asia.
This makes the most sense to me: They have a profound respect for what we put into our bodies.
Hat's off to Burger Village! And when I do have my one burger this year, it will be here! --- Karen Donovan
