Great time and good food! As soon as you walk in you can feel the wood fire oven cooking, keeping you cozy. Pizza is excellent and wine choices feature some key off the menu options. Suggest a back table for a more intimate atmosphere where one can discuss hobbies, future plans, positional preferences, and merits of mature oocyte preservation.
The gluten free pizza was amazing. The dough was like real pizza dough!
I've been getting the Brooklyn South Ferry a lot lately and it seems like Pier 6 is my favorite stop.
This is just steps from the landing and has a great view.
$9 for a glass of sangria is not bad for a view like this.
The bartenders could be a smidge more attentive, but overall friendly and nice.
This place is very close to the water playground next door, so it kind of turns into a respite for Mommy & Daddy with coach, but it doesn't really affect the pleasure level and everyone peacefully coexists.
It also seems like a popular spot to have small business, after work mixers.
I've yet to try the food, but this is a great spot to kick off a long walk down Atlantic Avenue, or exploring other neighborhoods nearby.
When I am craving Pizza, this restaurant is my go to place in Greenpoint BK! From the friendly staff to the warm environment, Fornino is a perfect for a night out with a group of your friends or a cozy date!
Great pizza. Sometimes, the taste of the GF pizzas can often be bad at even the best pizza places. To my surprise, the gluten free pizza here was really excellent with great sauce, fresh cheese and crispy crust.
This was a great slice of Brooklyn. Looking forward to more on a future visit.
