Sheing shong
Lovely place to eat, relaxing atmosphere, polite services.
The sign says “Zeng’s” - don’t worry, that’s the place. The food was excellent, despite the fact that our Caucasian appearance landed us the “Western” recommendations - noodles, duck, pork etc., while the Chinese guests who arrived later were served with more exotic-looking dishes which I will have to come back for. Our 4 kids devoured the food - so it was a big success with everyone. And we paid just over $40 for the 6 of us, including drinks. When I’m at Industry City again, I’ll come back to this restaurant.
Best family owned restaurant. Food is authentic not your typical Chinese takeout. You can also sit and enjoy food
Unusual to find a ducks-in-the-window joint in no particular part of Brooklyn. This is a Chinatown-style mom&pop place with good no-nonsense Cantonese food, low prices, and no service to speak of. I loved it. I was there at lunchtime and the only customers were not very hip looking Chinese guys, some eating alone and the others talking very loudly in a group. Not for date night, (unless you're lucky enough to have a very adventurous date). It's not for foodies... it's for eating food.
