Well done!!! Amazing atmosphere with amazing food.
Such a cool interior. Super friendly service. Food is enjoyable. I'd have to go back to review the food. My frittata was good but needed a little salt and pepper. Will definitely go back in the evening.
A real secret of the neighborhood. This cute little storefront opens up into a magical indoor rock garden! A much larger space than it seems, they are big enough to host small events in the back. My in-laws went there everyday while they were in town recently. The owner was so Friday to them and they felt like it was their special place. Go soon and often!
I can’t describe the beautiful decor of this space! Be sure to dine in the back although the front also has a cute nyc cafe vibe. Brunch is my favorite here, but the entire menu is satisfying
Le Petite Cafe is a wonderful place for a special event - a small wedding, a shower, a special birthday party. It has a truly special setting - sort of magical. The staff and owner are very accommodating. It's really quite lovely & yet reasonable. If you are doing a special event I advise skipping the house wines & paying extra for one of their better choices. On the event food menu we recommend the grilled shrimp. Special events can be charged.
If on the other hand this is just dinner for two or four - well that depends what you're looking for. If it's privacy in a beautiful space then it's a great choice as long as you get seated in the rear garden. But for fine dining - it can't compete with the many choices we have in NYC for excellent cuisine. Those places will be more expensive of course. On the dinner menu we recommend the grilled calamari & the hanger steak. Cash only for routine dining.
