Pies feature very thin yet chewy dough, charcoal blackened crust. Pretty much sized one per adult, with interesting topping variations making them good to share. Space is located off the beaten path but it's very much Red Hook inside.
Brooklyn Native here. I've been eating pizza--good pizza--for a very long time. I have to say that Pizza Moto is a very special place, definitely some of the best overall in NYC. The crust is crispy, the ingredients are fresh, and the pizza itself very inventive. The wine list has gotten written up and is always delicious. The staff are kind, helpful, and attentive - they clearly care a lot about what they do. You should definitely be eating here!
The place is good. Food is very good. The only issue is restaurant is bit small so sitting spot is not always available. Awesome pizza and chicken.
Had a large group meal here last night that was amazing. The smoked trout caesar salad really set the tone for a fabulous meal as their pizza is easily in my Top 3 for all of NYC. And while the hot fried chicken appetizer course raised some eyebrows in my group for its unexpected presence, it was a big hit. Thank you for making a special occasion even more so.
