Great place to shop I shopped here for about 30 years here
The best in Bensonhurst.
I find it hilarious that someone thinks the garlic sauce was soy sauce and then complained that it tasted of garlic. As for the lady at the counter, her English language is enough to order but she is obviously not a native speaker. She may say “What you want?” When you order, but she also says “thank you my friend” when you leave. Her son is usually there to translate in person. They are a nice family, a true mom and pop shop that are trying to make it barely speaking English, good on them.
And as for someone saying they got food poisoning from the shrimp fried rice, I still can’t understand why someone would order shrimp at a restaurant that doesn’t have a focus on seafood anywhere in NYC. Shrimp are not native to the city, I can’t think of any places that have them fresh besides fine dining places in manhattan, and most don’t serve shrimp, they serve langostine or prawn. They have the decency to clean the shrimp here so that’s a plus, but I only ever ordered shrimp one time from here, I found my favorite dish afterward.
I always get my food hot and fast and consistent so that’s what I like
I have been going here since I was a kid and i always receive my food hot and fast. Never once had a hiccup with the food.
Omg the garlic wings and french fries was the bomb. Ketchup on this hot delicious fries made my night.
