Stolovaya

It is quite good, my dear comrade. As the name suggests (Stolovaya [Столовая] can be translated as “Eatery”) it has very similar food as to what I remember eating growing up in the USSR. Back then we haven’t gone to restaurants nearly as much as people did in the Western World, but when we did venture, this is what you would smell, see, taste. To my Americans friends I’d say go for the experience of an unassuming russian cuisine at its true basic Soviet self :) ...I had to give it 4 out of 5 stars because they don’t serve too many vegetarian dishes. Can you change that, please?

Great meal. Small played, big plates. A variety vegetarian or meat dishes. My only thing I love here are the cheese and potato ravioli. Each plate filled with 24 pieces for only 5.95!!!!!!!! No place can beat it. Service is quick and efficient. Recommend it very much

The food was really good!!! But the server was very slow and didn't serve us water until we insisted on it. It wasn't a good customer service.

Traditional Russian cuisine. The food is good and inexpensive. Not sure if it's common but they allowed us to bring outside alcohol which was nice. A good place for a quick bite.

Great place for home-style Russian food. I've been coming here (not too frequently) for over 10 years and the food is consistently good. The prices for this type of food are better than most other places that I know. The place is adorned in Soviet-style art and posters, which is quite interesting.
