Hale and Hearty

Nice workers, but the formulation for the balsamic chicken avocado sandwich has changed, and not for the better. Still it always gets sold out before the other sandwiches.

Good soup in a cold night, but closes at 7 p.m.

I went to Hale and Hearty soup for the shrimp bisque. The young lady who served me fully understood when I said I wanted the largest they have. She laughed and nodded. It made me chuckle. Thank you for awesome service and great soup. Folks check out the Metro Tech Hale and Hearty location.

I am still dreaming of Hale and Hearty. I visited SF for work and ate here 4/5 days that I was in the area. The salads are freaking bomb dot com. I was obsessed with the spring salad. I added steak, medium rare and fell in love with every bite. The salad has everything you can imagine and it keeps you full all day. I think the salads are intended to be shared but I ate the whole thing every time because I didn't have a fridge in my room and because the salad was that good.

I love this place! Good soup choices, great salads, all healthy. Always try to come here when I visit downtown Brooklyn!
