Wonderful place with wonderful food and wonderful staff. They now have a liquor license.

I just love this restaurant! The food is always awesome and the staff is very attentive and friendly. Its wonderful to have this wonderful italian restaurant within walking distance as well. Best Italian food around.

Drove into Brooklyn with our family and some friends to go to L &B Spumoni Gardens, but the wait was atleast an hour. We then googled restaurants near by and we came across Giovanni. We called and they could not get us in. A little while later, my phone rang and it was the manager!! They were able to fit us in!! What great service! The food was INCREDIBLE! The staff was great, very nice and extremely hard working. I ordered the shrimp scampi and it was fantastic. My husband had a seafood special and it was overflowing on the plate. My son had the scampi too, just delicious. The fried calamari appetizer was huge and crispy. We will definitely return again. I highly recommend this restaurant .

If this is the Italian restaurant on Avenue U not far from West 6th Street, this is a great place. The food is terrific; the service is great and the ambiance us wonderful. I have been there a few times and will definitely go again.
