Hunter's Steak & Ale House

Warm and inviting decor, excellently prepared food. Seafood was fresh and cooked perfectly, steaks cooked precisely as ordered as well as the sides. Drinks were on the tiny side but the service was excellent. Live Celtic music and dancing! If you have any musical bones in your body you could appreciate it, it was a fun atmosphere. I don't know what constitutes moderately priced these days, it was $170 for a party of three (2apps, 3 entrees steaks and seafood, 1 mixed drink), tip included. I believe they have the prices posted online. Definitely worth it.

Neighborhood favorite, easy meal for a large or small group. Had our rehearsal dinner for a very reasonable price, and a brunch with cousins recently... Versatile place with reliable food.

Our family has had numerous parties here and we also all enjoy coming here for meals. Food is always amazing. Staff is always attentive. After every party we receive many compliments about the food, staff, and atmosphere. After every meal I talk about its deliciousness for days. Every time at Hunters is a great time!

First time here and was thoroughly impressed. Great, tasty food. The servings were hardy and priced properly. Fitting decor and very comfortable. Proper attire is recommended but not necessary. The best was the service. My server was pleasant and attentive but not overbearing. My requests can be very particular but she got everything right. The staff always made sure my guests and I were taken care of and finished dishes were removed promptly. They have valet parking which is necessary in Bay Ridge. The dessert looked delicious but I'll have to try it next time because I was stuffed.
It looks like I'll be a regular here. I can't wait to try the dessert.

Have been here about four times with a group and plan to continue to come with them and with friends. They have great specials, a very varied menu not just steak, great drinks and excellent service. Love the steak and also seafood dishes. Compared to other steakhouses throughout the city their prices are very reasonable. Love their entertainment and nice bartenders too. Also the place is accessible for people who use wheelchairs and walkers.
