Awesome tiny cafe with great food and the best staff in tri-state area!
This place deserves all of your money. A welcome refuge from the hustle & bustle of NYC (yes, even Brooklyn), they offer delicious smoothies 100% worth their value and other sandwiches/salads etc that don't skimp on size. You might think you want to grab something and go, but the inviting atmosphere makes it hard to refuse sitting down and taking a beat. The staff is just as delightful as the food. Cannot say enough good things about this place!
Real talk. If it’s located in Brooklyn it probably is expensive. The shack is no exception. Smoothies and sandwiches costing an arm and a leg. The smoothie was good though. Least I can say that.
I am not the biggest grilled cheese fan but this one is a MUST! Honestly I was starving and got one with a delightful Hawaiian cup of coffee. When I brought it back to my guy friend's place he was absolutely up for splitting it even though I am pretty sure that he did not want food. It was convenient and so so tasty!
A perfect, quiet, calming, healthy, green, kind-hearted option to escape the grind of NYC. I love their tasty menu that makes you want to make better food choices in your life ....and the environment makes you want to sit for a while with a paper back book or an old journal and just SLOW DOWN. Brownie, who owns the cafe, also offers cleanse programs that don't leave you hungry. 5 juice/smoothie/soup options plus a dinner - for $65 or less a day. It's connected to Kula Yoga project, so there is often class going on while you sip your watermelon aloe juice or iced coconut green tea.
