Good Chinese/Taiwanese food, with elevated presentation to match the trendy interior design and feel of the place. Trendy Williamsburg restaurant. 2hr wait on a Friday night. We didn't wait. Came back on Sunday night. Was told 40min, waited an hour, and ended up sitting at the bar so we could eat already. Having grown up on this food, it is really overpriced to me, for only being a little fancier than something from a traditional place.

Excellent flavors overall. Loved the delicious turnip cake and the guohua street salad which consisted of grilled shrimp, smoked tofu, peanuts golden raisin + mango. Perfect balance of sweet and salty. The cocktails were interesting and featured Taiwanese spirits I had never tried before. Definitely a favorite place!

Win Son was overall a good experience. The food is a unique take on traditional Taiwanese street food and everything we ordered was really good. From Manhattan, it’s a bit of a commute, but I’d say worth it to try something new. Other than the commute, the only negative was that a lot of the foods we ordered tasted similar to each other (same type of spices / flavors).

Awesome new Taiwanese cuisine. Service can be a bit spotty, but the food is killer. The Eggplant, Pork Belly Rice and Lamb Noodles are to die for. Also the house wine is excellent!

From the moment you walk in you know you are in for a treat. The dining area strikes the right balance of being active but not so much so that it is loud. The cocktails are well crafted and the menu has something for everyone. Brunch is always busy but the bar is full service and great for people watching. Would highly recommend.
