I always enjoy the food here. Pasta is always well made. I frequently eat here when visiting my daughter. I was disappointed with the wine list. Very mediocre for an Italian focused list. I believe it use to be much better and all wines were temperature controlled. Our red was warm and was an average Dolchetto for the price. Really didn't find any appealing reds that were reasonably priced.

There is so much to choose from when one wants to dine in Little Italy, to the point that strolling down the street you'll have restaurants practically throwing themselves at you, vying for your patronage.

During a date night one weekend we were in this exact pickle when we came across La Nonna. It seemed elegant and tasty yet still casual and not ridiculously expensive, so we gave it a try.
