My home/family away from home. I love, love, love this diner. They're always so kind, pleasant, the place is clean, the cooks are amazing. I've got my very own place to go to.....???? Where everybody knows your name and they're always glad you came ???? ????????????????????????

Very few authentic diners left in the area. This establishment offers a wide variety of foods, drinks and desserts to choose from at reasonable prices (especially considering their huge portions). Customer service is also great and you don't have to wait long for your fresh cooked order. Would definitely recommend.

This place has really improved now that it's under new management. The interior was renovated and the original owners from when it was first open are running it now. I've been here a lot ever since it reopened and the food is ALWAYS fresh now. If you've had a bad experience at George's before, I really recommend you give it another shot now, you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend the chicken parmesan sandwich, it's really tender and soft.

Love George ???? and George Jr too along with their friendly staff. Look for huge portions to fill you up as well as super clean establishment. You never have to worry about leaving dissatisfied! They make you feel like family.

First time here even though we've lived in the neighborhood for going on 2 years. we were really intrigued by the fact that this place has been open since 1956; the food's gotta be good! my husband and I went here on a Saturday morning after a night out and we were looking for some good hearty food. The place is not huge and was full (good sign)but we got a table without much of a wait. The staff is so, so friendly and quick and helpful. They cleared a table for us in no time and had coffee on the table before we were even done taking off our coats. The menu has a great selection for breakfast lunch and dinner.
I ordered add a two-egg, bacon and cheese sandwich and a short stack of chocolate chip pancakes and my husband got a western omelette. All of our food was delicious and is recommended. The people next to us got hamburgers which also looked delicious. We might be trying that next time. The place was clean, service was great and the prices were super reasonable.
