Came here on New Year's Eve day to celebrate since boyfriend and I both had to work at night. We were lucky to sit at the bar and had a new bartender serving us. Her name escapes me now but she was absolutely lovely. Turns out it was her first official day working on the floor and it was pretty busy in the restaurant from the moment we got in till the time we left. She was hustling the entire time! If she wasn't sure about something on the menu or a drink recipe, she immediately got us an answer. She was definitely a problem solver and kept a smile the entire time she was busting her butt. Both of us having service backgrounds, we saw opportunity for tighter organization that I'm sure she will hone in on as she gets fully adjusted. Regardless, our food was outstanding and we thought she really did a great job. I would hire her at my bar any day!! We are looking forward to coming back very soon!!
The service is phenomenal. Their drinks are both strong and delicious. One will give you a nice little buzz. The hot chicken is quite delicious, classic fried chicken style.the hot is just spicy enough. The Mac and cheese is quite good. Great BBQ spot. Would recommend highly.
Love the chicken and creamy grits. My favorite cocktail is the sweet Georgia brown. The wedge salad is amazing with extra bacon.
I don’t recommend this place for large groups because the space is small.
It’s best to visit during the week for comfortable seating. The servers are usually attentive and friendly.
The non spicy fried chicken was delicious. The Mac and cheese was delicious and the fried green tomatoes were also delicious. We enjoyed our brunch and the staff was courteous and very caring of our needs and wants. We will return. We loved it.
The chicken is so good. Just the way you get it at a nice family gathering or brunch. The sweet tea is sweet sweet. The fried chicken with the hot seasoning and sauce had the just kick you need. It gets crowded on Saturday and Sunday- best chance to get a seat is during the weekday, but it has a nice comfy atmosphere. I would come here again.
