Kum Kau

Awesome place to go to, whether it's for a quick bite or Lunch/Dinner. The food is awesome and inexpensive. The staff is usually on point and ready to assist you at any moment. Definitely a cool place to try out!

Good Chinese, good customer service for take out Chinese. In all the years I've been eating here, have never eaten in - always take out. Good pork buns, fast, great for what it is

This is a neighborhood institution. As a kid of the neighborhood, I remember coming here when I was little, and it hasn't changed a lot. Still has the standard 'Chinese Restaurant' fare There's a sit down restaurant next door, but I always do take out. Call ahead of time so you don't have to wait for your order. They don't take cards, and you can't find them on GrubHub, but they are an authentic piece of neighborhood history. Skip the trendy new places all up and down Myrtle every now and then and stop in to Kum Kau.

Fantastic Chinese restaurant with great flavor and large portions. We had the beef and vegetables, Hunan shrimp, and sesame chicken in a shareable combination called something like the triple jade dragon and it was delicious. We had to take home leftovers.

The dumplings are delicious too.

The space is clean and fairly comfortable for mid sized groups.
