They have a mini meal of curry goat, curry chicken and jerk chicken . I like them and they are at budget pricing . The gravy are spicy and tasty. The Beef patties are also affordable and tasty but remember them before the first bite that it is hot , wait a bit.
Seems like a women family oriented business where the mother sisters and daughters are all working together to maintaining it, quite cool btw.
TBH this is my favorite Golden Krust due to how the mac and cheese is prepared and possibly the only reason why I tend to drop by. Every time I drop by they're like always out of it. It has the perfect balance of dryness where it doesn't feel watery but the cheese still feels melted. Combined with their cooked oxtail it gives off the equivalence of having some fine wine with cheese. Luckily I'm not one of the MTA workers stationed there, otherwise this would've been my main lunch and dinner spot.
Just look out for the drunks and homeless who roam around the liquor store and tend to walk in to ask for money.
It has some of the best beef patties around most definitely worth trying .
