Amazing service , great atmosphere , fantastic waitress i forgot her name but she was great ...i highly recommend this spot.
Delicious food & fantastic service. Really appreciated our server's knowledge of the food & wine, cheerfulness, and how accommodating they were.
Gem in Fort Greene! Went for brunch. Great food and presentation, reasonably priced. Would return for sure!
My expectations were high when we happened upon this place on our way to buy pie at Petee's Pies. It wasn't busy for Saturday brunch. The dinner menu looked pricey for the area, but the brunch menu was on par with other places in the area. WE LOVED the cauliflower dish. It was sublime. We were disappointed in the eggs Norwegian especially because the dinner pricing seems to imply a level of expertise that didn't show up on the brunch table. The plating was great. Very generous and we loved the fries in the mini fryer basket. The Hollandaise was ice cold. The eggs with completely over cooked. We had the duck salad and the duck was overcooked and the egg was hard boiled. The dressing was tasty.
We had the apple fritters for dessert and they were very good. It's an odd item to serve as a "side dish" on the menu and definitely more of a dessert. The waiter brought it as a dessert.
The waiter was very nice and he tried hard, but he was overwhelmed to run the floor alone. He was not well informed about the menu although he did ask.
The food here is undeniably good and the service great as well. But two minor complaints. The seating is not terribly comfortable is one. And the second more important one is the whole place smelled like over powering air freshener. This had us wondering if they were trying to mask some other unpleasant smell or if someone had just gone spray happy. It's a worth a try tho cause if that smell isnt there, I have no doubt you will love the food and the menu.
