Lilia

We travelled to New York specifically to have a dinning experience at Lilia and we weren't disappointed it was incredible. Loved the atmosphere the food and the service. Our dining experience made our visit to New York very special...go there you will never have regrets

I can honestly say that my meal here was one of the best I've ever had. After lucking out on a reservation a month in advance, I was fortunate enough to come here for my friend's birthday dinner celebration. Ordering the sheep's milk agnolotti was an excellent decision. I could only describe this dish as little pillows filled with cheese and drizzled in a honey sauce. Perfection! Service was excellent, wine was on point, and the olive oil cake complemented our meal nicely.

So many of my friends rave about Lilia I really wanted to love it. The hosts were totally gracious when we showed up without a reservation at 9:45 on a Friday. Really appreciated being sat right away. Unfortunately, the clams that I've been drooling over from the photos on their website came out soggy and overcooked. I was not in the mood to send anything back and perhaps they would have been very gracious about replacing it. My fellow diners liked and loved the agnolotti. I thought it was overly rich without enough acidity to balance it. It certainly wasn't terrible, just not my thing. I really loved the mushroom dish with the arugula, pistachios and rosemary. That was my favorite bite. We had both the olive oil cake and the chocolate cake. Neither of them Rocked my World. While the flavor was pleasant they were both a little bit dense and dry. I am not giving up on Lilia because my friends loved it so. I'll be back and order differently. I've always been a fan of Missy Robbins.The pasta with the red sauce smelled absolutely delicious from the table next to mine.

The Mozzarella is divine and so is the sheep milk pasta. Pasta rocks here. Flank steak was great. Olive oil cake with figs was really good. Must visit!

So this place is amazing such great food it makes me mad. I want it every day. All the food is great that's all you have to know ..tip call for reservations and don't do it online. I called and they were super helpful. Everyone is very nice as well!
