Dickeys Barbecue Pit

Awesome daily special. It came with two sides and a drink. It's worth checking out whenever you're craving meat. It has a fair portion size and pretty quick service. It's decor does not feel like they're a barbecue joint, but it's reasonable price help makes it more accessible.

My family was greeted warmly from the moment we stepped into the restaurant. Then we were told to order at the beginning of the line which was at the far end across the entrance area. The gentleman who assisted us is the pit-master, Mr. Louise. He was friendly and gladly offered us advise when I asked what was good to try as it was our first time at that location . Although, my family have had Dickey' s a few times when we visited Dallas. We had the 2 for $24 deal which includes 2 platters of 2 meats, 2 sides and a bread. It was a GREAT offer. We all loved the sliced brisket and pulled pork. The smoked Turkey and ribs were tender and juicy too. We loved the collard greens, barbecue beans and fried okra. The coleslaw was good but a tad sweet to our liking. Least favorite side was Mac and cheese. All in all we will definitely be back as it was a very reasonably priced BBQ restaurant with their promotion. Tips: Request for the spicy barbecue sauce by the counter. It goes well with the meats.

This location was amazing! There wasn't a lot of people since we were there at a non-peak time, but the food and service were both excellent. I got the beef brisket with mac&cheese, and it was delicious. The staff was very polite and patient as we navigated the menu, and one of them even grabbed a Diet Pepsi for me from the convenient store since they were out of diet soda. Spectacular food with above and beyond service; I highly recommend this restaurant!

Cute concept. Franchising bbq places. The food was okay, not bad, but nothing to rave about but who raves about fast food? Of course when your doctor tells you about the high blood pressure, diabetes, etc you’ll be raging at yourself.

Anyway, the foods okay. Service is fast and the staff are pleasant
