It was my first time to this or any other "hothouse" location. I had the fried chicken with a side of mac and cheese. Both were good and hit the spot. For a weekend brunch the price wasn't bad. I'll definitely return when I'm in the neighborhood.
If you like the food at the original Peaches Hothouse, but like myself avoid it because of it's limited space, this is a great alternative. Food was awesome. The extra hot chicken really is HOT. The location is bigger so there's room to move without bumping into another table. It also gets more natural light as it is surrounded by large windows. Casual but nice experience.
Fantastic food in a great location. Enjoy brunch or a meal/snack before events at BAM/Barclay's center. Lots of food options, including chicken and french toast, sandwiches, salads.
Chicken was moist, good healthy spice level when requested "Hot", great crunch on the outside, pretty much no complaints at all. Portions were large enough for us to split for lunch with a side. Spinach dip starter was delicious, we wolfed it down, and the restaurant-made tortilla chips were large and crispy.
Rum punch was potent but too sweet, and the cornbread wasn't very good, but besides that, we enjoyed our meal and exceeded our expectations. We would go back.
Brand new offshoot of Peaches Hothouse in Bed-Stuy, but without the wait (for now). Same hot Nashville style fried chicken but now available as fried shrimp or catfish as well. They have other items too but the hot chicken is always the way to go. The extra hot option is almost too much, "hot" is already super spicy. Make sure to also dab with their hot sauce for a savory vinegary addition. Great addition to the hood!
