had lunch with my daughter. wanton soup, quarter roasted duck, steamed vegetables dumpling. kum pow chicken and pork fry rice.

Surprised at the poor reviews. I have been here many times over the years, and don't remember ever having a bad experience. I went here today with my mother and my children, the waiter was really friendly and attentive. The food was good. My kids cleaned their plates.

Old style Chinese restaurant. Food is decent and reasonably priced. Something of a "hidden gem" as it is downstairs and doesn't look like much from outside (and actually inside is pretty charmless, but then you are there for the food). I've only been a few times, but no complaints with the dishes.

If you want good food and for the NYU student's menu. Cost more but is very good. Skip the lunch special [too much celery, not enough real veg] ask for the regular menu.
