A nice rotating selection of brews. Daily specials on food and drinks. Located right next to Prospect Park. The bartender was extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend a visit.
Great place to hang out chill and have a bite, especially Tuesday nights for karaoke! A true local place where folks really come to unwind.
Hands down my most favorite dive bar in Brooklyn. Always a great crowd no matter the size. Karaoke Tuesdays, Comedy Wednesday’s, And trivia Thursday’s just to name a few. Great happy hour $4 wells, $6 beer and shots. Can’t go wrong!
Feels a little unfinished, unpolished, like something in Astoria, or maybe like a food joint that also serves booze. This lack of pretense makes it comfortable and socially unimposing. Its gonna be as good as the company you choose.
I usually go to this bar because I like the vibe and there is a "veggie corner " on the menu. I ordered the vegan nachos, they recently changed the blend of chips that they use. Now they use a blend of white corn, blue corn, and red chips. As a vegan, I was concerned. Red dye is often times not vegan. I asked if they could remove the red chips. The bartender informed me that they might refuse to do so, I asked if he was joking. It turned out he wasn't because someone from the kitchen actually refused. I decided to cancel my order. I could remove the chips myself, I did it the night before. t's not hard. I just wanted them to do it because last time I had to throw away the chips. That made me feel like I was being wasteful. The bartender was nice as always and he even agreed with me. Usually I have a good experience here but I don't know if I can bring myself to come here again. Refusing to accommodate me even after explaining that red dye is not vegan is unacceptable. Why should I hand over my hard earned money then. Very very disappointed. Obviously, the attitude expressed by the people In the kitchen is not unusual, the bartender knew and he warned me. What a shame, it was my favorite local bar.
