Mulberry & Vine

A little pricey for the amount of food you get, even by Dumbo’s standards. Thus, the 4 stars. However, it was filling and delicious. Plus, the space has a good vibe and the folks are nice. They only accept cards (no cash) which is the other reason for 4 stars.

For a plate or bowl you can choose 2 veg + 1 protein OR 3 veg.

I had the Goldman: sweet potatoes, broccoli, chicken breast, turmeric honey Dijon and crunch over organic spinach.

The food was absolutely fabulous - probably the best meal I ate during my 5 day trip to NY. The ordering process and service weren’t the best, though. I was there during the lunch rush and it was super chaotic going through the line - customers and employees going in front of you and behind you in order to get everyone else through the line as quickly as possible - I just felt like I was in the way of everyone and it was stressful and unpleasant. And the staff seemed less than thrilled to be there, and kind of rolled their eyes when I had questions. Great food, beautiful space, but the rest of the experience could use a little work.

I am freaking obsessed with this amazing restaurant. The food here is always on par. The first time I had mulberry and Vine was in catering. And they're great as catering order too! Service is so personable and after eating here you don't feel awful about yourself but truly full and satisfied. The place is a 15 min walk from my work and I make the effort to take the walk. My fav is the Thai glass noodle and the vegan mash. You can't really go wrong with any of the choices though. You choose a base of spinach or romaine...have 2 veggies a protein ... A base and a crunch...and a sauce. My fav crunch is the coconut crunch! I see myself coming here probably almost everyday. I brought over my other coworkers here too and they love it as well. I'm serious..this is going to be a really serious addiction!
