    I've always liked this place for sentimental reasons, their affiliation with Tarheel. Their clientele has changed,, but the memories and nostalgia is the same. Their trips to NC are awesome. Drinks are well priced , the old crowd do not frequent as much but the food is very good.

    The Tip Top is the Tip Top. It's exactly what you want it to be: a Brooklyn dive. They have seating on patios both front and back, and a small area where you can smoke on one of them. Service is friendly and nothing is too expensive. You *do* occasionally have to remind them of the difference between tonic and soda water though, so just know that.

    Really chill vibe. Older crowd. Moderate middle age crowd. No drama. Just vibing and love. The bartender is amazing! She has a short cut and a big smile to match.
