Good food, diverse menu, and good value.

I wouldn't place an order online. You're better off sitting down in the back and getting food.

The horchata was large (of course) and very good.

I ordered the Mexican shrimp platter and was satisfied. The right amount of shrimp though we all wish for more. The beans were cooked and came out at a good thickness. The service was good especially for last minute late night.

The salad was a bit stale. The onions and peppers were cut in a lazy manner for restaurant standards. My friends ordered the garlic shrimp and thought the quality dipped but overall would come back and give another shot.

Food and the portions are great! Very reasonably priced and the staff are all very pleasant. They'll likely become a regular visit for my friends and I.

Been coming here for 17 years. I just love this place, great staff, awesome owners. Food is spot on majority of time, can't expect it to be always 100%. I get it because I worked in the same industry and mistakes happen. But nevertheless this place is a classic in the Clinton Hills neighborhood. Great place to just grab some beers with friends/ coworkers or with food in the mix. Thank you Castro's staff and owners for staying true and consistent over the years ! ????
