    Pizza was made fresh and wasnt too burnt at the crust!! Good service. Very warm in this location

    Just your classic conventional garden-variety NYC slice of pizza. Always on par and never anything less than expected. J & R also has excellent rolls, my favorite is the eggplant! Never disappoints. Pretty underrated, but definitely top 5 in midwood, after Di Fara’s obviously.

    Nice cozy setting. J&R has been at this location over 35 years. The pizza is fresh, multiple plates offered at reasonable prices. The owner is friendly, environment is nice for single person as well as families seek a quick bite.
