This is the most famous pizzeria in NYC, and rightly so... It's in Brooklyn. Their extra toppings are too expensive and they put just a few pieces, which is not worth it.. but the pizza here is great. We took a takeaway and went to the waterside, sat and ate our heart out .. we asked them for extra sauce as a topping and that made the pizza very juicy and nice.
Only accepts CASH!! Pizza is amazing, service is ok. $40 pizza with paper plates, utensils and cheap napkins. When you start charging the prices they charge, credit card and better setting for food should be included. Pizza dough is a very inexpensive food cost item. They pizza we eat cost then $5-8 to make and they charge $40 because they know tourist are going there...stop gouging the tourist, for real.
Pizza was great. I invented the Mulligan pizza, white pizza with crushed tomatoes on top. It's great. Service was not!
Service was not good AND they added gratuity even though party was only 5! AND DID NOT TELL US. almost paid tip TWICE!
Don't make this mistake, check bill cause they won't tell you.
I'm not sure its worth the wait unless you get a Mulligan Pizza! :-)
Always loved this place. Pizza is awesome. It reminds of old Brooklyn. I love the old time atmosphere and the whole dumbo area as well. I highly recommend this place for pizza.
Wow. Incredible. The flavours were vibrant, the portion was enough for three and the sweet cannelloni was awesome.
The atmosphere was like something out of the sopranos and it properly made you feel like you were in a movie.
I’d recommend this place to anyone going to NY. Walk from the city over the Brooklyn bridge and this place is less than a 5 minute walk from there.
