The scallion fried rice had wok flavor. Pork soup dumplings did not disappoint. Scallion noodles were good portion for the price. Good food. Service was better. Overall clean place to eat in.
I just feel like they should have more bun options to live up to their name as Mr Bun. Their soup dumplings are just ok, comes packed filled with soup but Lacks savor. This restaurant is actually just a Cantonese style cafe with cheap prices. I recommend the beef with scallion pancake.
Food has improved from the last time I was here. Be aware if you order both the scallion pancakes and scallion pancake beef wraps, they will only give you scallion pancakes. Happened to me during eat in and for take out. You have to remind them to bring both dishes out at the same time when dining in and double check your order for take out. If you have been waiting awhile for an order, it most likely has been forgotten by the kitchen. Waiters/waitresses are courteous, restaurant is clean and there is an adequate amount of seating. Prices are reasonable. Decor on the walls is cute. Been here several times and the food is not consistent for example the sweet and sour soup can be a hit or miss. Still one of the better restaurants in the area.
Lovely local neighborhood gem, serving up great Shanghai cuisine. Everything is reasonably priced and delicious. Soup dumplings is what they are famous for and a great tasting menu. Snacks, appetizers, and even entrees are great for sharing, the portions are decent. My favorite item was the dumplings of course, the drunken chicken, scallion pancakes, and the crab rice cakes. The red bean Pumpkin dessert was excellent as well, sweet but not overly sweet. Served hot. Yummy. Came on an early Saturday night, 6pm, but dinner rush happened at 7pm and it was easily a packed house. Reservation suggested.
I visited this restaurant with my sister and my elderly father. We enjoyed the food, especially the soup dumplings, the hot and sour soup was very tasty. It is a clean place, with a municipal parking lot next to it. We really appreciate their very courteous staff. We had slight trouble finding the location, looks like their store sign has not been installed.
