    Very cool spot ro just kick it. They played old skool music.

    It's ok. Drinks are a bit overpriced and the bathroom is way too small. But, it's a nice spot when you want to get out for a bit.

    Great low key very good drinks and staff. This place is good for a nice mellow happy hour. The music is good too.

    I went to Brooklyn for the day and ended up at Essence for dinner...I wasn't quite ready for what was in store...The food was phenomenal... made me wanna slap the Cook... it was that good... Please check it out... you won't regret it

    It has an inviting atmosphere. If you are an up and coming comic it's the perfect place to try your jokes out. If you enjoy laughing it's definitely the place to be. It has the best food. Their wings are to die for, any way you order them. The drinks are reasonable and tasty. Come have an enjoyable time. You won't be sorry
