Decent Japanese food.
Sushi is delicious.
Soba (thin buckwheat noodles) is decent.
Best vibes. Try all the non sushi dishes and sides. They’re delightful.
Geido had been a reliable Japanese restaurant for decades. Good food; friendly service and vibe and decent prices.
Affordable and inventive sushi. Busy and lively. Good spot in the neighborhood for a fun sushi dinner.
I've been going to Geido since I had to sit in a little baby-chair that my parents would clip onto the sushi bar, and 30 years later I still go as often as I can afford to. Osamu has done an incredible job. His staff is friendly and competent, the fish is always as fresh as you could want, and the atmosphere is just downright pleasant.
It's a real neighborhood restaurant, and you feel welcome the moment you set foot inside. I've never found another sushi bar that I like more than Geido, anywhere I've been.
