I just moved to Brooklyn for work, and have been trying a bunch of the local food joints near where I live. This particular place is just down the road from me, so I stopped in on the way home from work once. Immediately I was impressed. It's a cute little place on a street corner, with a cozy interior, and incredibly friendly staff. The lady working the register greeted me immediately, and was a great conversationalist while I waited for the pizza to be ready, and because they were trying out a new style of pizza, offered me a free slice to try it out. I've gone back several times now, and would highly recommend the place to anybody who happens to be in the area. The pizza is really good, and there's a lot of good variety of choices that rotate occasionally (unlike most places that seem to have a set selection of options).
There are a lot of pizza places in Brooklyn, but you will never find better service than at bricklyn’s ! The pizza is great, which is enough of a reason to come back, but the quality of service provided by the couple who run this business is above and beyond! They are kind, friendly and absolutely the most generous business owners I have met!! I can’t not recommend this place enough, if you haven’t tried it yet you are missing out!
Amazing pizza joint that also started making gluten free pizza, simply because I asked if they make it! Josie and everyone is incredibly incredibly nice and most importantly the pizza is incredible!!
Picked up pizza last night, very clean super friendly. I liked the grandma slices a lot! But the pepperoni slice had a lot of flour on the crust and felt like if it had been fired a little longer it would have been perfection. The knots are not your standard knots for Brooklyn they weren’t my favorite. Definitely will try again, sandwiches looked great as well as their personal pies! Love that they have a real coal oven pizza.
Their classic cheese and grandma were seriously some of the best I’ve had in all of NY. And I’m a pizza nerd and have annoyingly high standards. Oh and they were extra polite and kind which is hard to come by in this city. Strongly recommend this place.
