Seamore's

Good overall experience with food and, all things considered, not that pricey (albeit not inexpensive) for the area. Ambiance is ok for a chain. Service was excellent.

Sat at the bar. Friendly service. Excellent catch of the day. A little pricey, but overall really solid.

Two of my friends and I came to this Seamore Sunday 12/23 @ 2pm to celebrate a friend's graduation. We thought this location would be better to avoid the chaos in Manhattan. The food was good but the service was not that great. Yes we were there for about 2 hours but we live busy lives and wanted to catch up. I have a background of working in a restaurant while working on my MA a few years but my friends do not. In our opinion (and my expert opinion) the waiter needs to be retrained. Our waitress was not attentive and slightly rude and drop everything on the table, proper placement would have been nice. I would have given this place a 4 or 5 b.c. of scene, location and food (which needed a little more seasoning) but unfortunately she ruined our experience. Hire new waitresses that care about their job and want to provide a good experience. We still tipped her but she didn't get nearly what we originally planned to give her.

I went to see a play at St. Ann's Warehouse and decided to grab dinner before the show. I'm very glad that we popped into Seamore's. Their $1 oysters were delicious. My blue fish was excellent and my wife loved her poke bowl. If you're in the neighborhood definitely try this restaurant out.
