Very good vegetarian combo. Rice was perfectly cooked. Very good saag paneer and samosa was Great. Naan bread was too doughy for my liking. All said will definitely order again.

Service is good.I popped in for take out the gentleman behind the counter was friendly & helped me select a pescatarian dish without dairy. The order came out in good timing. I got the Shrimp chili spicy which was very delicious & it actually does have a kick so I was pleased (my family is from the Caribbean so spicy should be spicy). He was so sweet he give me the coconut rice pudding for dessert that I didn't order, it was yummy too. Definitely worth going back.

I recently stayed with a friend in Greenpoint for a few weeks while my apartment in Manhattan was undergoing renovations.

I arrived late my first night and Bombay Grill was around the corner and open late so I decided to try them out. I ordered the delivery special which includes an appetizer, entre, naan and sauces for $18. To be honest I wasn't expecting much, but when I picked it up I was surprised by how much there was. This isn't some small single chicken kebab with a little bit of rice - this is full, thick, juicy cubes of chicken perfectly cooked and seasoned with a heaping portion of tasty rice. I was blown away.

I went back many times while I stayed in Greenpoint and the quality of food was always top notch across a variety of dishes, appetizers and desserts. I am sad to be so far away now but I will definitely be making the trip to GP for some more of this great food soon.

Bombay Grill is hands down the best culinary surprise I've experienced in NYC, and is a contender for favorite place to eat
