This place straight up rocks. Pasta is clearly homemade and reasonably priced. I had the ragu, which was excellent, but the pasta is good enough to stand alone with just the tomato sauce; for 15 bucks, that's one of the best deals in the area.

Appetizers were similarly phenomenal, especially the calamari, which was genuinely some of the best I've had. Fresh, not fishy and the perfect amount of garlic - delicious!

Continuing the theme, the service was flawless. Our waiter was probably the chillest person I've ever encountered in NYC, yet didn't miss a beat with our orders or drinks. Just super funny, professional and mellow.

All in all, Cent'Anni is a wonderful restaurant that adds so much to the neighborhood. Indeed, it's rare to find a restaurant that hits it out of the park on all fronts, yet that is precisely what this place does. Luckily for me, I live 5 mins away!

I've ordered take out from this restaurant a handful of times in the past and have always been pleased. The food doesn't take very long to arrive and it's so good.
This time I finally ate at the restaurant. The restaurant is welcoming, warm, quaint and casual. They have an adorable back patio which we tried since the weather was so nice.
We ordered Rigatoni (grandma's recipe of slow cooked ragu with meatballs & Italian sausage) and the Salmon (pan seared with lemon, capers, sage, split string beans & extra virgin olive oil). When I tell you this salmon was the absolute best I've had in for sure the last couple years. My goodness it was cooked to perfection. Every bite was mouth wateringly good. I barely got to try the Rigatoni since the plate was almost completely cleared off by the time I had a chance to look up and ask for a bite. Oh goodness the sauce!! There was a solid amount of sauce to ensure each bite was just as juicy as the last. Super Kudos to the chef on this dish. I can't wait to come back and try something new with my friends.

Great staff… super friendly, warm and inviting. Food is fantastic!!! Best calamari in Brooklyn, and great wines. Warm & cozy atmosphere… all around A+++!!! Would love to have them add pizza to their menu, and they can do better with the bread.. but overall GREAT!!!

Good Italian food. Five stars is really for the outdoor dining situation which is great. Backyard off the street which is very cute and has a shade to cover the whole backyard if it rains. Also like that this restaurant is very adult and is great for a night out but I’ve also been able to bring my baby and it hasn’t ever felt like a nuisance.
