Chobana

Great establishment! I rarely write reviews but feel as though I need to say something about Chobana. The food is top notch and reasonably priced. The staff is kind and friendly. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. This is a great option for pickup during the crisis. Stay healthy all. ????

What an extraordinary find! We stumbled upon this place while walking thru the area, looking for something other than the usual - and we were so glad we found this wonderfully authentic Turkish place. This is the kind of place you hope to find when visiting abroad, but rarely do because you get stuck in tourist areas. We ordered a ton of food - lentil and chicken soups, several salads, liver appetizer, kebabs, tea, coffee, and dessert - for the three of us, and aside from being delicious it was so remarkably affordable (our bill came out to under 100 bucks, for all that food for three people!) The owners are a super welcoming mixed-background couple, and he cooks all the food. He came out during our meal to ask how everything was to our liking - how rare is it for a chef and an owner to do that! She is amazingly warm and friendly, and chatted with us for a bit when we asked about how long they've been open. She said that their place is unusual for the area's demographic, and not many people know about it. So we said we'll help spread the word! Chobana is truly a gem and we look forward to going there again for both special occasions and for a casual meal. (PS, they also do catering.) I honestly rarely post reviews of anything, but something you come across people and places that are too special not to share.

I went here with my family and we absolutely loved everything that we ate. The environment is friendly and welcoming as well. It’s a wonderful restaurant with fantastic Turkish food. I’ll definitely be going back.

Fresh and delicious. My favorites were the shepherd's salad and the falafel platter with hummus. Service was excellent.

Excellent food,the owner is friendly and accommodating! My family loves the place! We always go now whenever we have a birthday in the family.
