La Abuelita Deli

This is hands down the most flavorful, delicious, AUTHENTIC Mexican food in NYC. This is literally like eating at your Abuelita’s house. The staff is so friendly. My favorites are: Mole de olla ( red, spicy beef soup) if comes with homemade tortillas!! Huaraches (any topping is delicious) and Tacos de carnitas. The carnitas are well-seasoned and juicy. I have also also ordered tostadas de al pastor, amazing. We always call our order in advance before picking up.

La Abuelita consistently makes very delicious Mexican food :] The kitchen's in the back, the front's a deli with fresh tropical fruits and produce, and there's also yummy pastries like thres leches cakes! the outdoor seating area to the right is a nice hang out space. I really like the wholesome atmosphere of this mom-and-pop shop, the family working here is very nice. Highly recommend to anyone passing by.
