Best night of my life!!! Very romantic food and atmosphere. When the waiter brought over dessert (deconstructed ice cream scoop) my partner pulled out a ring!!! Happily engaged and happily full :)
Chose this place on a whim after flying in from LA. Couldn't believe when I heard about a Thai-Armenian-Latin fusion place. LA is all about Thai, Armenian and Latin food so I had to check it out.
First of all, the atmosphere... Really cozy, warm and eccentric. I wish they didn't light Sandalwood scented candles on the tables, because I couldn't truly enjoy the smells of the spices filling the room.
The chef/busboy/waiter strip show was really entertaining. I imagine you would not find anything like this in the area. His yellow banana print boxers help distract you from the sweat dripping off his brow, onto the food.
The food was unbelievable. I've never seen a chef use fresh, local ingredients in such new and exciting ways as Chef Julius. The plating was impeccable, with every bit of food accenting the last. They clearly put a lot of thought into the construction of their dishes, and I have to commend them on their success.
In all, this experience was unforgettable. I will probably never be back, but I will tell everyone about it and I imagine there will be a long successful road for the owners of this establishment.
Wonderful service! I came in on a busy Friday night and the owners graciously allowed me to bring my pet ferrets and kiss them on the mouth. They are the burden of my life. Come for the fresh and delicious tilapia!
Great cooking. Menu frequently changes. Chef Julius incorporates the freshest ingredients mixed with spunk to create unique flavors when he isn’t neck deep in soy sauce. Still confused why the chef was wearing only boxers, glasses, and an apron when the whole restaurant could see into the kitchen....
Overall great experience! Good ambience, very nice decor, and a great patio space. The food was very good and well worth the price and the wait. They have soups galore and a great selection of whiskey.
