The food here is absolutely amazing and the customer service can be matched. She was so sweet and told me about their specials. It may be pricey to some but it was well worth it. Good soulful food. I had the griot 🤤, amazing.
The food here is really good; no doubt about that. The problem is when you call in and order and they say it’ll be ready in 7 minutes, but when you get there they never started the order until you get there (Happened to me 3 times). After finally receiving the food, you will only get 5 pieces of goat if you ordered a $19 plate of Tassot. I’ve been there when it’s busy too; and you have the remind the guy there 5 times just to start your order. He gets so flustered that he’ll fulfill another order before he finishes the first one. I feel like if the menu prices are high, the expectations should be as well. And the owner should hire help during busier times. The Haitian spot down the block is more reasonable! Check them out
The griot and black rice was fantastic! Everything was seasoned to perfection and the girl who took my order was very welcoming. She was knowledgeable about the dishes and invited me back! I was surprised by the experience considering that it is a relatively small establishment. Dining occurs outdoors as indoors is too small to permit that. Overall, I was beyond pleased when I got home and tasted the food. It was well worth the price.
