    I was married there on Oct. 3l, 1976 and it was a great venue for a Halloween wedding. Everything was perfect--architecture, atmosphere, food etc. Hope it reopens so I can go. My Dad was a member back then.

    I have only seen the facade and exterior of the Montauk Club and can say I love the gothic theme, with creepy faces and gargoyles. Would love to go inside one day and feel the spiritual essences of ghosts and dearly departed who haunt this building.
    I saw what looked to be a wedding going on, and would e a great place to have a ceremony here because the local area is quiet and calm, adds richness and class to the vibe of the area.

    I found this place by pure accident. I exited the 2/3 train at Grand Army Plaza station, and was walking to meet with friends at a restaurant when I spotted the Montauk Club. If you happen to be close by, take a look.

    Very different from the same old clubs. Very large space. Everyone was polite even when it was crowded around the bar.
