Went here for a birthday dinner & it was a cool experience. The food was good, although the vegetarian options were a bit limited (even the salad come with fish flakes). The drink menu is definitely creative & the cheesecake is absolutely delicious. The restaurant itself is very spacious and even though there were few empty tables, it didn’t feel crowded.
This is an experience! The interior design is outstanding, it’s warm yet grand. Each detail is carefully thought out and nothing is missed, especially in the food and drink. I appreciate the uniqueness of the menu, you can’t go wrong with any of the dishes! Each time I look forward the fresh greens salad, the honey yuzu dressing is out of this world. It’s a special place!
Anyone saying this place is overpriced isn't used to paying for quality this high in the north Brooklyn area. It was so inexpensive that we ordered half the menu for only two of us. Delicious! Very personal service (manager came over to welcome us). Wonderful option for family style plate-sharing, if that's your aim. Will 100% be returning.
Went here a few weeks ago with friends. Ordered almost one of everything on the menu because everything looked great (also, we were with friends! don't judge me!). Service was awesome. The Japanese Souffle Pancake and House Silken Tofu (if still available during the day!) were fantastic. Thanks for a great meal.
The food is incredible, which is the most important. On top of that, cocktails are inventive and delicious, and there is an extensive sake and sochu menu with very knowledgeable staff who can make excellent recommendations. Staff are friendly and helpful and ask/are considerate of dietary restrictions. The space itself is lovely and a pleasure to dine it. The only con I've found are the nearly impossible to find hand dryers in the bathroom (they are under the mirror; the sign is hard to miss!)
